Pastor Kuru had only one thing on his mind as soon as we reached the picnic spot. When the question was asked, "What shall we do now?", his response was, "Let's have lunch." Everybody just "laughed him to scorn" (acting very biblically). He tried to argue that we should get the job done and out of the way, but he was outvoted. Not forever, though. In the end they did have to eat. When all the food was laid out, what a variety there was.
How quiet the kids are!
After lunch, a game that encouraged the group dynamics of cooperation was played . Everyone playing had to stand on a large bedsheet and then they had to turn the sheet over upside down without anyone getting off. It took a while, and some help, but in the end they managed to do it.
Looks like everyone had fun and the picnic was a great success. Reminds me of the old days when our youth group went to Chinhat for a picnic. Early 1980s or thereabouts!
